EHA designed the San Francisco location of a run-away success that has spread from New York to other major cities including Toronto, Chicago, Seattle and Austin. The SPiN ping pong social club is the epicenter of a national phenomenon celebrating music, art, style and table tennis. The capacious 12,000 square foot interior space, which features street art from artists such as Sticky Peaches and Shepard Fairy, is an indoor urban playground. Exposed concrete walls and floors provide a raw, industrial backdrop to a space filled with soft, comfy seating with a central bar and VIP room. An exterior patio pergola transforms from outdoor space to an indoor space allowing for fun the spill out.
Three distinct ping-pong table areas allow for multiple private events to occur simultaneously, with the middle one, known as center court, doing double duty as a dance floor for parties and events. The open floor plan promotes the idea of the “offline social network” . Celebrities from the world of fashion, entertainment and tech converge at SPiN SF, as well as the average person.
